Mobility Training for People Who Hate Stretching

Stretching is boring. Nobody argues with that. But mobility does not have to be.

Mobility is different from flexibility. Flexibility is passive. How far can somebody push you. Mobility is active. How far can you move yourself. Mobility matters more for real life.

The best mobility work looks like movement. Deep squat holds. Hip circles. Cat cow stretches. Thoracic rotations. These are not stretches. They are exercises for your joints.

Do mobility work while watching TV. Five minutes during a commercial break. That is enough to maintain what you have.

The areas most people need: hips, shoulders, and thoracic spine. If you sit at a desk, these are tight. Open them up.

A simple routine. Deep squat hold for one minute. World greatest stretch, thirty seconds per side. Thoracic rotations, ten per side. Shoulder pass throughs with a broomstick, ten reps.

Do that every day. Your body will feel ten years younger.
